Distribution of Se in Floating Coals with Densimetric Fractions in China

Scholars at home and abroad have studied the concentrations of Se in coal relationship between sulfur assignment. However, little attention has been paid to study floating coal, especially distribution pattern densimetric fractions influencing factors. A total 138 samples were collected from 14 provinces cities China test we carried out comparison with forms 81 them. 10 selected for float-and-sink analyses investigate coal. The results showed that average concentration Chinese was 2.26 μg/g, which is identical previous research studies, found an 2~3 μg/g. Selenium not uniformly distributed coals but it had some regularity. main controlling factor content high-sulfur a “linear growth” increasing density, each fraction increased slowly > 2.00 g/cm3 sharply. other ash yield low–medium-sulfur “parabolic-like” distribution, i.e., low both ends high middle fraction. With increase 18.23% 51.92%, highest gradually progressed 1.40 1.50 g/cm3, 1.60 1.80 order. correlation selenium raw different regions sulfur, pyrite organic significant. there existed significant Se, same mining area depositional environment, among most correlated followed by sulfur.
